Hempstead Village

The parish of Hempstead is 2.7 miles south-southeast of Holt in Norfolk, and has a total population of just 177 people as at the 2011 census.  The entire parish occupies 720 hectares (2.78 square miles).

The parish is part of the Gresham ward of North Norfolk DIstrict Council, and the Melton Constable county division.  The District Councillor is Mr  Callum Ringer and the County Councillor is Mr Steffan Aquarone.

The Hempstead Parish Council consists of 7 elected representatives who look after the general running of the parish.  They meet six times per year to discuss issues and address any concerns parishioners may raise.
